Change to vw beetle headlight????

    Change to vw beetle headlight????

    I've seen a couple cars now where headlights were changed out for VW Beetle headlights. On one I was told just the lens were changed. Anyone done this and will tell us how? Saw this one today on another forum sparked my interest. I like the look.

    I wanted to give it a try but the VW headlights are kind of pricey

      Do you know how difficult it is? Is it a direct fit for the VW lights? The guy with the one pictured said he "thinks" the po did these by just changing out the lens??? Not so sure about that.

          Yes. That's what I'm looking for - - someone who's already done it!! I've seen a couple different cars done this way - just can't get info out of owners.

                    I never did like either the head or taillights, thus the black visors on the front and the custom black taillights that WrdBrd did for me. I'm not sold on the VW idea..I've done about all I can do to Black Beauty. Now we drive her almost weekly to one of the many beautiful state parks close by...paradise!
